France really is that much smaller and further away. It just looks bigger and closer because of the way they do the maps.

It's perspective innit, if you we're looking at the telly from a different angle, it'd all make sense.

If you're looking at the telly from Dunkerque France appears bigger.

I have to give Spooks credit for not making absolutely everything electronic make loud beepy dot-matrix-printer sounds like CSI.

I was always curious if NASA or Pentagon have those beeping things whenever something appears on the screen (Call of Duty-like, by the way).
