You do know Dalston Superstars is not real right? I know it's about hipsters and the actors are most probably hipsters themselves, but they do know how to make fun of themselves.

Know it's not real, I just struggle to see (or maybe don't want to believe) that there is ANY demand/market for utter shite like this. They're not creatives, they're just stoned all the time....

It's on Vice. It's guaranteed to be hipster bullshit, but some twats still read the crap they churn out. They are doing their own version of other popular shows.

Hahahaha I just watched that and it's hilarious! I don't see how anyone could get annoyed by it, I don't see much difference between that and Nathan Barley, it's just a satire where the characters are meant to be ridiculous and laughed at.

Very unfortunate, I'm ashamed to say I know one or two people who... dare I say it, are hooked on The Only Way is Essex AND Made In Chelsea.
The biggest problem is, as much as ^ & ^ are frankly repulsive and pretty low-grade/shallow programs, I found myself watching a couple of episodes of Chelsea out of pure disbelief. You end up spending the entire hour pondering the question - Could/do people like this actually exist?

These people may, and most likely do exist, but these are not the people that in the programs. They are all characters. Most of the storyline in MiC is fabricated and most of the cast are generally nice people in real life. You don't seem to be able to realise that they are tv programmes, made in order to entertain by way of stereotyping and exaggeration. as scoot said, just like nathan barley...

'Reality' TV and soap operas can stroll right off to ITV.
