God, I had to listen to so much Incubus the other day at work. Wanted to kill everything. Is it compulsory for all people with dreads to love Incubus?

Rastas love incubus. You heard it here first.

Heavy metal > Incubus? So what is Deftones to her? Death metal? Or even Metallica.
I had a listen to Incubus today, first time ever. Never again.
-
• #12281
the shocker was that she classed incubus as heavy metal, hence thinking i would think highly of her as she knows i like heavy metal due to my music accidentally playing very loudly in class the other day.
I wouldnt know how to define incubus. they sure arent in any genres i listen to.

A band which used to be Korn-like in the 90s and now it's like Take That.

I remember watching that music video with the main guy drawing himself on Kerrang! in the early 2000s sometime. The hate started then.
It's weird watching music videos on silent (sumo is sleeping like a cute little kitten so I'm sitting in the dark trying to be quiet)

They're the kind of band that include a turntableist like that a valid thing to be ಠ_ಠ

fucking whiny shit, that's what it is... rumour has it they were ok once. I'm not willing to test that theory
Ask her opinion of... this for example

if you still like her use incubus as a gateway to good music... a project bird if you will -

I always imagined gateway metal would be the mild mannered tracks with reasonably hooks that encouraged... earlier, harder & heaver shit.

Incubus used to be great when they did S.C.I.E.N.C.E. ...

Also one of the few bands that went a bit past the very formulated "nu metal" at the time ... full on jazz and funk tracks that I still love.

Lol. I agree with Pascalo. I loved Incubus up to SCIENCE, after that I cried a little. I went to see their Morning View tour, what a mistake. Shitty kids who thought it was their first release, they played A Certain Shade of Green and someone next to me said, "This must be new, it's shit." I punched him in the kidney. I still don't feel bad about it.

I like the Make Yourself record.
If we're basically posting everything we are embarrassed to have listened to as kids then this thread will get old fast.

Clearing out loads of stuff the other day, I found an old pair of Adidas Superstars and a red New Era Yankees cap. I think I *may *have dressed a bit like Fred Durst at one point in my life.
What, it's a girls' band.
