Good point, I forget that the camera's on his head and he didn't turn to look back while filtering, but decided to use his hearing to hear incoming vehicles - bad idea.

I nearly got taken out by a motorbike coming down the centre line from behind
^This...
After years of riding motorbikes in London this is one thing that really aggravates me about (some) cyclists. If you're moving more than about 1 meter, look over your shoulder first. Sorry Mirius, I'm not picking on you as everyone does it:-)

Yeah you' be an idiot to pull out in traffic without looking behind, but it doesn't mean motorbikes can filter at 30 and expect everyone else to account for them

Can someone have a word with the bellends living their continental dream with their vespas: If you can't fit move the fuck over, stop blocking the channels.

lol, don't worry as an ex-motorbike rider I take no offense. In hindsight it was a stupid thing to do, and unfortunately not the only stupid thing I've done over the years.

I did this some years ago.
Knocked on their helmet like I was a debt collector at the door and told them that the green stripe on the road is not theirs. Then ducked to dodge the inevitable, fully deserved, punch and peddled away.
Ahhh... to be young. The perfect mix of ignorance, arrogance and testosterone.

Fixedskiddah on a colnago conversion last night at the junction of old St/Gosswell rd. Hoons it up to the red light knowing that theyre soon to change so he'll be able to jump the quew, bust a skid and cane it off....
...slips and wipes out blocking all of the bikes and cars. There really is no need for so much posing when comuting.

Spent my whole day teaching with one foot stuck in my clips because my shoelace had got caught around the strap fastening and didn't want to admit it in front of the other (very cool) instructor. Hopping around whilst he was at the front of the line was a strong look. I even ate my lunch perched on the bike.
He blatantly knew. -

He blatantly knew.Ha ha! For some reason I imagined you as a cycling instructor but in the classroom with your bike still attached to your foot and hidden behind the lectern.

hahaha. That would be a push too far! It was fairly manageable on the road thankfully. Quite idiotic of me though.

probably a repost? Welcome to the internet.
More predictably perhaps but the last time I swooped through a lane of traffic like that without looking I nearly got taken out by a motorbike coming down the centre line from behind. And since it appeared to be a helmet cam, the filmer didn't look behind at all in that sequence.
