a banana for £275!
sum of the parts ain't worth that. the wheels are 27", but the bananas had 700c.descriptions are laughable, trying to make worthless POS parts sound good.
at least when Kiwi sold bikes at these prices he had decent enough bits on

Simple answer for anyone who really takes exception to this. High fees to lists bikes that cost that much, even higher if they sell. Ebay no longer gives neg feedback to buyers. So if you have a real problem with the dude, buy the lot, pay for none, and hope he gets stung for all the fees.
Thats probably taking it a bit too far.

FFS. everyone's entitled to make some cash from their crap - it's ebay for god's sakes. Walk in to evans or bikehut or whatever, what the fuck do you think they're doing there?
Caveat emptor.

I think that people are up in arms for a number of reasons.
1) The guy is passing off crap like it's quality.
Which is what a lot of mortgage lenders did and look where we are.
2) The prices take the piss.
Which offends many people's sense of fairness.
3) The guy has gumption in spades.
And a lot of people are secretly wondering what they'd make if they tried the same thing.Yeah, I'm a cynical bastard.
He's not selling much, though, so honesty evidently still has some value, even on Ebay. Which should be heartening!

I bought a BB on ebay from this guy, he seemed pretty reasonable when I met him. Having said that the bikes he's selling are (in my opinion) overpriced junk.
+1 to caveat emptor. -
