i had a good conversation with james regarding your moving tracy mallet bill, the conclusion i came to was that the head is too small but the shaft is just right, james disagreed he likes a small head on a short shaft, incase you wondered.

brendan always likes to aid a damsel in distress. I think 4 of us to put her chain back on might have been a touch...well, pious?! So I don't think you're a cock for not stopping.
don't worry about nearly squashing me. I bring it on myself.

Im more of a big shaft and head man... plenty of grip...electrical tape at the base and tip...and sticker along the shaft so i can track damage.
Skoota im sure you bring the worst out in people.... There was no need for what just wrote.

Ahem ... in my humble opinion, having played at all the london courts that lfgss have played on, (the south really does rule) the sitting in the goal mouth leaving against the wall, leaving only the bb hole to score through is a bit silly. It's one thing if the goalie has to trackstand and save at the same time, but to lean on the wall, simply sit on your bike and be an obstacle makes it really dull. As dull as missing 25 open goals :(
-
• #538
maybe we should move the posts out from the wall a bit then, simple as that.
-
• #539
Agreed about the hand on the wall bit, moving the goals out a bit just shortens the court that much more. We've done it a few times and it was OK, but I just really want a longer court.
-
• #540
maybe hand on the wall in goal counts as foot down?
-
• #541
But what if the shot is already blocked?
-
• #542
i think something like that. yup. mike you get those bits from agata?
-
• #543
Yeah, true, having the posts there makes it too easy to lean. Brick Lane makes for more interesting D, but has way too many other issues. I'll stop leaning against the wall though.
-
• #544
yeah, if it's already bloked it sucks.
maybe people should just be told not to lean on the wall. I know i did it a couple of times, but generally tried to stay on bike by balance or lean on mallet. I dunno, there's no perfect solution.
We could glue broken glass to the wall behind the goal.

It wasn't just you Horatio!
Agata spent a good 20 minutes hanging out in 1 match...
-
• #546
OK, let's propose a rule for this court only:
Hand on wall in front of goal is a tap-out

+1

• #548
what about when not goalieing? ie caught in the corner etc.?
-
• #549
Does that include the person going in for the goal? It gets pretty tangled up sometimes and you'll get a couple people there hanging on and swinging away.

shin, can you read?
