Big ed contacted dave who organizes mitch cleaning. He mentioned he will organize a court clean as is due but its abit on the back burner due to lots of other things needing a clean and a tree has fallen on the court or near it means its locked for the time being.

Anyone want to hire lights at downs? Or borrow them..

I'm quite interested in joining the session on Thursday (not sure yet if I can make it this week though...) and was wondering at what time they usually start?

Also, is there any bike and mallet loans as I don't have any? I've only played once before but would love to play again :)

I'll check the new Dalston Court tonight and see if we get any lights by 6:30. Do they come on that early at Mitch?

Also you could head to one of the Saturday sessions at London Fields... They have a loaner bike that is kept at LMNH Mare St.

Unfortunately I work most Saturdays so would rarely be able to make it to those sessions...

You are more than welcomed to the regular (Tuesday & Thursday) sessions and likelihood is someone will lend you their bike/mallet. Try to make it early at 6 or 6.30 to get plenty of time on court as sometimes large turnouts (usually after 7/7.30) means that there are less games for each player.

I just checked Mitch. It's locked.

The Dalston court doesn't have real lights I guess. Street lights around it but they don't provide enough light to play.

So where do we drink?

Also did anybody tried the court on Gunstor Rd?
Its bit uneven in places and only 26m but playable though as an alternative? Not sure how often the kids are around there

So who has the time and inclination to sort lights at downs for thursday?
