much tidier than many firsts

If you feel too stretched out an inline post and/or shorter stem is all good.

Latex? Yeah I know that.
You suggested using a lightweight tube such as Schwalbe XXLight and my point is that to make a butyl tube lighter, they are made thinner: ie even less puncture resistant.

Just received a Syntace F119 stem from ebay but without the 1 1/4 to 1 1/8 spacer that I'm pretty sure I need. Does anyone know where these can be bought from?

Anyone help me with this?

but a little bit fiddlier to patch when you do get one.
Have always found latex tubes easier to patch than butyl

Threw this together for getting in to work. New frame but the rest of it is from stuff I had lying around. Quite fast, enjoying it after not riding fixed since the summer.

1st build?
screams 1st build. -

Know what he means, I've got a Berlinetta up on blocks in the shed that's just waiting for an inspiring build.

No, first fixed for a while though I suppose. I've used 3T components on all my bikes for the last 5 years, hence the well used seat post / bars / stem. Saddles have always been Fizik, obviously not going to change that. Ultegra brake saved form an old Trek OTP road bike. S900 levers result of riding Red on my other bikes so wanted familiarity. Chainset and rear wheel off the last bike that was fixed, front wheel form my lightweight carbon clinchers.

Don't sinelli make the gazetta? Can't for the life of me make out the brand on that DT? Foffa?
-
• #99216
yeah it's the Cinelli. I was expecting the small white logo on the D/T too but this turned up with a gloss baclk logo n matte paint. Don't know if it's the 2015 version or 2013.
I get the wheels are a bit silly but the rest is pretty standard kit - 2kg steel fame, entry level 3T / Fizik, Shimano chainset. I like it.

Well if you have the stuff lying around, might as well use it. Just don't lock it up outside ay.

Looks great. Think everyone else might just be mirin bro

Can't help thinking a red Supercorsa pista would have been worth the extra punt with those parts... #justsayin

Got ripped off on eBay.
Spent £80 on just the driveside of some SRAM omnoms.Any chance someone has a spare 170mm non-driveside arm?
Alternatively how doable/stupid would it be to use a different model GXP crank arm with the omnium one?
and if usable does anyone have anything spare? -

Something you know a bit about.
Quick shot of what I built today. My first fixed gear, I think it it turned out fairly well, still needs a few tweaks. Chainset and front wheel are temporary until I can afford something proper. Thanks Kifla for the frame and speedy delivery!
