Dt...
Groupset consists of 6400 brake calipers, levers, dt shifters, seatpost, rear mech, front mech (band on) biopace crank, headset, bb, pedals with original clips, hubs laced to wolber profils.
I need to find a bolt on front mech if I choose to go for the full gearset, otherwise will run a 1x7. Also need to replace the chainrings and possibly get a 6400 stem.
Or did the 6400 band on mechs come with a 31.8mm option?

How about some external bearing cranks? Not the ubiquitous omnomnoms but some 75DD?

Unlikely to be any more aero, I don't need the stiffness and the increased q factor is a bad thing.

I doubt you'd change because of it but with a 42mm chainline the sugino 75 Q factor is wider than most other square taper track cranks.
edit: SG75DD Q factor is slightly under 134 by my measurement.

yeah! you using this as your daily ride or winter trainer?

Daily ride while I get the Unknown sorted out. Still waiting to hear from insurance companies on that.
original plan was to have it as a nice ride bike, but as you can see, it's filled in nicely over the winter as a commuter too.

Do you know if it clears 32's on the back?

I'm running 23s with race ladies and imagine I'd have problems with anything over 28c.

I'm currently running 1x10 setup with shimano xt cranks and its 44t outer ring on my colossi rambler cx mostly for road commute.
The ring is worn now and thinking about replacing them with a narrow wide ring, but a bit hesitate because;- Largest for 104 BCD is 38t
- The price for it, I can get a tiagra crank for the same price and run the middle crank. Or buying a front derailleur and use it as double.
Any thoughts on this would be helpful to help me decide
Cheers!

Pretty sure 54 was a better choice over 56. 12mm of spacers gives this drop, and reach seems good.
Just waiting for the hubs to arrive so I can get some proper wheels on it.
Anyone got a spare 105 band on front mech knocking about? It's 29mm diameter and I only have 31.8.
For anyone wondering, btw: 54cm frame weighs 3.1kg with headset. Porky...
