What cranks re you going for?

If you're going for black cranks, and keep the post/stem etc, keep black wheels I'd say :)

Get a wider rims rather.

ec90 fork received in the post today, flo30 rims and royce hubs with Arup for building. The moots is getting blinged :)

I second that, the Roberts is perfect!

Cheap wheelset came through today and was excited to find that where I expected a pair rough as a dog's behind, they turned out to be basically brand new. Swapped crankset too and have nice front shifting finally.

Perfect for the slave beik

Saved this from a student dorm bike garbage lot and built it up for my girlfriend. Hybrid Bottechia converted, MTB Rapid-fire shifters, Tektro RL320 to Tektro Mini V-Brakes. New wheelset, kept the Shimano LX400 Biopace triple, had to scrap LX400 derauillers, robbed another MTB from the lot for LX300 derauillers, seatpost and saddle. Biggest con is the weight and wide tires (32c Sportcontacts) on non wide rims (thought the rim width is 19 mm internal when buying). Happy about the budget, aesthetics and drivetrain performance with new chain and casette. Put a violet bar tape and the better half is really in love with it.!
