I think those were built by Garry Fisher, and they're the first Italian mountain bikes, from what I remember (defo didn't come with a suspension fork though).

this was a 2nd gen, the rampichione arione 10, came with sus forks as factory spec, airone was an italian mtb magazine, the first rampichino was in'85,with lugging, steel forks and a collaboration with fisher
RAMPICHINO 10Back off the road after 10 years, but it's not a remake. Once
again, it's "the bike that hadn't been thought of ". A high quality
off-road tourer, not a racer, but based on ten years of racing
experience. Green Line Custom sprung torks, Royal elastomer saddle
and Tom Ritchey Z Max tyres with knobby treads developed for this
bike. A new concept mountain bike, for a cultured and evolved
public. Frame built with Columbus Thron tubes, Shimano STX
groupset, Geometry (18" size): seat angle 73=B0, head angle 70=B030',
chain stay length 423mm, rake 43mm. Colour: Rampichino Green Hard
Touch.

I need a set of chain rings as I can't count.
Dura Ace 9070, 110bcd, would like 52/36- what should I buy?

On Cannondale SiSl cranks with a P2M spider, I should add.

Rossin and Hyperons.
Overnight have thought of a solution to the Hyperon / Cervelo fit issues - I'm going to put the Hyperons on my Koga.
Meanwhile I am trying to decide if I can live with the ice blue Rossin and put a few bits on it today that I had lying around. It will not be keeping the Hyperons.

The seat stay and the chain stay chrome not lining up with the wheel in the same place would drive me nuts.

^^^^ dat wishbone..
Otherwise, bought this yesterday:
A '92 c-track (I think, still need to decipher the SN, the paint's making it hard to read)!
According to the previous owner, it was metallic grey, but after close inspection, the OG paint's long gone. So a new paint will have to be done, no way I'm leaving this "fixie matte black".
I think I'm gonna go for yellow, I really like their blue but there are so many out there..And fork-wise, since finding an OG fork might be very difficult, I've three easier options: pelizzoli, factory five and colossi, even if the last two's tyre clearance it's putting me off.. Maybe they can do a custom order with a tighter clearance, otherwise I'll go for pelizzoli's one. Any other ideas?

Anyone running a 28c Pasela on a 23mm rim?
I'd love to put it on the Goldsprint for a second to check if the front clearance is OK.. :)
Alternatively could you measure how wide and tall it sits?

Steve Goff will make you some custom for £100

^ Thanks! I'll keep it in mind, but actually a friend just told me Orlowski makes customs forks too, for a bit cheaper.. I'll check them out.

cant believe someone canned one of those black. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out

he's definitely cheaper!
still love my orlowski, daily driver, city bike, commuting to work, but no cyclocross with one gear anymore. changed the brake pads, rest is still the same as it fits me perfect.
Bollocks. Bought a nice pair of Campy Hyperons on here. Cleaned them up, bought and stretched a pair of tubs and an 11 speed cassette. Today I fitted everything up. Front wheel great. Rear wheel in, give it a spin - what the hell is that noise, shit the spokes it the NDS chain stay. Internet checked - Hyperons not compatible with Cervelo S3. I'll sleep on it and see if I can come up with a solution.
