Probably won't get to finish the build until Friday but here's a full photo.
It replaces the black Dave Russell so most of the parts are just swapped over.
The original wheels and seat are gone so the ones shown are temps until I decide what's next.
Thanks to ArmourTex for a 48 hour powdercoat - RAL 2003 - orange metal flake.
Stratton Cycles in Wandsworth supplied original adhesive decals.
They also shared some interesting Claude Butler stories and revealed this frame was built by Chas Roberts.
Experimenting with the final look.
Black lug lining is dry erase marker and wipes off, and the first decal applied was crooked so it was moved to the seat tube.
Not sure if either detail will stay.
One more photo to come when complete.
thats really nice Dwayne, love the colour.
not too sure on the seat tube graphic though. -

I've a silver stem at home, I'll need to get the clinchers on it too, as it'll be on the road.
Some Maillard hubs with Wilber super champion tubs will be on sale soon.

eddie, dude, lush lush..
100% inspiring for the bike i'm putting together for my wife.. frighteningly similar to the "perfect bike" she describes.. i'll be damned if it comes out as gorgeous and value for money.. don't hate me if it looks a bit 'twinnish'? ;) -

Just finished this off for this year. I changed a couple of parts from last year after riding it for a while. I have a Keirin brake for it, but it is currently set up for the velodrome.

Christians?
I've heard they prefer the Koran these days.
Or the wise words of L. Ron Hubbard.
Or Kabbalah. And even if they have a bible, who keeps it on their project chair?
Thanks Murtle, what do you think would best complement it?
