Regarding bottom bracket flex in an alu frame, how bad is it to have it when close to 17 stone. It's a Dale 2.8. Will it tear apart?
my cannondales have pretty much zero flex in the bb area, very stiff frames
caad 3 and caad 4's thoughSame here and I'm about 16½ stone.

Finally got a day off so took this for a nice long ride today.
Still waiting on some hubs that I'll be building up to some carbon clinchers and also on the hunt for a "Flite saddle" anybody got one they want to part with?
Aquarelle house, city road basin.
You can leave the bike there today, I'll look after it

I'm Building wheels with silver archetype and silver spokes
And looking at 105 5500 black color for the same price as tiagra 4600 silver on evans (with free shipping worldwide)
With shimano usually trickling down technology every generation, is it safe to assume that the tiagra hubs should be at the same level?I would prefer the silver tiagra, but if the 105 really is better would go for them.
Any thoughts?

confirms this 0.36 for the 2.8
the lower the stiffer i believe, check out how stiff the cannondale track is, nothing beats it for frame stiffnessSame here and I'm about 16½ stone.
safe bet then at a £150 for the frame?

Parts for CAAD10 re-build. Saddle second-hand, Exograms half price in Planet X sale, seatpost and front derailleur imported.
Been waiting nearly 4 weeks now for an insurance replacement, so thought might as well make some changes in the mean time...

Rychtarski and Pina are both very tasty, love the industrial look of the Pina's chainstays, and nice setup for track, while that 'Starski is a lush tarck, I really do want.
After getting a bike fit few weeks back, I got a cheap chinese crabon CX frame (open mold Dirty Disco but with BB30), and getting used to a very different position, I think after thrashing it over the summer to make sure it works for me, and I'm going to order a Rychstarski over winter.
It has to be done! :D

Quality difference is negligible, pick the ones which are the right colour.

Been riding clipless for some time, also got rid of top spacer and got 1 1/8 carbon top cap.

Really nice
I was just thinking that. It looks as though the tapered walls would accommodate a range of bicycle lengths. Also the green trim on the background steps would complement a pair of Vittoria Pave tyres.
(Nice Cannondale!)
