^^^ Both look great and I like the silver. What bars are on the Weigh?
Yeah, I think overall it would be nicer with silver wheels or some grey open pros. The archetypes do roll well though with 25c tyres.
The bars are Ritchey Classics, as is stem and seatpost.
Have I seen you on that Graham Weigh doing laps on Regent´s Park about a month ago?
Really nice both of them BTW.
Very likely. I really need to get more training and miles in though. Say hi next time.

How on earth did you managed to put your hand so far down, it's closer to the spokes than the shifter?
Long arms Ed, stupid long arms! It'll take a while before I know just where the shifter sits. Or get a bar end shifter.

Lowpug I saw you today looking pretty cool on the Ron Rooper I'm sure, can't quite remember where is was but maybe the Marylebone Road around 6.45? Looks really nice!

Update on the Ron Cooper and a pic for comparisons sake of my Graham Weigh.
Really nice pics too.
So centre, very flat. -

I love that Weigh-Donohue, though I am obviously biased on that front.
The Ron looks great as well, and I really like that overlay pic. Officially a lo-pro!
Shimano wheel decals are a pain in the arse to remove, if you like the skin under your fingernails, but I think it will be worth it...

Ron looks so mean!

That cooper is hot!
Maybe the best looking bullhorned bike Ive seen or at least recall.
And to me, things are so much better when not outrageously priced

Could you get away with not having a locknut on the drive side of the rear axle? (hub cone/dust cap - spacer - track end) or where can I find a really thin locknut, needs to be 5mm max? Similar to front ones but for 10mm axles

• #93911
Why don't you take it for a ride and find out?

Need lockring and dont want to do pull a chickenlever

Yes Thrust, those wheels!!
Yeah, the pair of them took the bike up a notch in slaveness.
Fuck it, i'm gonna slave out my Somec for summer..
Do it!this is all sorts of awesome
Cheers mate!

Thrust, your concorde is excellent. Properly clean and simple, but not boring.
The wheels are a bit of a letdown and I think you should probably sell them. Maybe to me.
BTW, how does using cosmics make that slave? I'm out of touch.

Concorde is mighty fine. Looks cracking. Maybe black grips though? (unless its the light and they are black?)

Yep around 7pm was rolling through there... trying not to get my toes caught in the front wheel - it had decent toverlap...

Cheers mate. Have to get a Donohue ride going. And, it's almost lo-pro. You could argue I'm cheating by using compacts and a positive rise stem on the GW. Still, my neck thinks it's a lopro.

And to me, things are so much better when not outrageously pricedThanks! I was pleasantly surprised at how purposeful it looks. I'll have to train hard to match it. The build was around £310 and given it's getting the frame riding again I think it represents excellent value. And enjoyment.

Really nice pics too.
So centre, very flat.Thanks. And thanks to the cheap canon 50mm lens. Makes life a lot easier when taking pics like that.

Any parts bin, I'd have thought. I had some 6mm thick ones made that were definitely thicker than the stock Shimano ones I was replacing.

Question:
Can a mountain bike frame like this, be changed to a 700c road bike?
Difficulty of that process?

You'd probably want to start by melting it down; but "yes", it's do-able! :)

Would the drillings for mudguards in the fork, and reflector in the back put up with braking force?
If so, I suppose it wouldn't be too much work.
It still wouldn't be worth it though, considering the cheap GT road frames with road geometry out there.
