New bike has arrived, haven't had time to set it up yet so ignore the scoble stack and miles of seatpost, just thrown my bits on it, for now it needs some fatter tyres but other than that pretty happy that I've made the right choice!

Brakes are comically shit - lack of compressionless housing at Howard towers
Otherwise job done
Quite why mavic can't align its own stickers I don't know
I have these brakes, experimented with housing when they were weak as piss. Made no difference at all. What did however, was wearing in the pads. Which took forever, over a year - I still dont think they are fully broken in.
I have a second hand cable disc brake on my jump bike, and that is super sharp and locks up the DMR moto with just feathering. Think ill eventually get that from the BB7's but its going to take a bloody long time.

Picked this up today for my new project.

China?
Yes...a mate imported a couple and I took one off his hands. Build quality looks to be pretty good.
We shall see as it goes together. -

Finally got my Barrosi kind of sorted. Carbon forks and new pedals would be nice, but apparently not for this season.

Found a roadbike to match my track.

Bars!
What are those wheels? They look nice for shimano builds.

What are those wheels?
WH-R540, I think.

Unusually nice branding for Shimano (on OP's, anyway)

I think they might be wh7700 actually, based on google images.
(Which would explain the slightly nicer-than-normal stickers)

great bartape, probably my favourite of your bikes!
not a big fan of the crankset though

Usually not a big fan of colourful Colnago frames but this is beautiful!

I love it.
Can you setup the Biopace to work* like RotorQ/Osymetric ?

I'm going to build this up for my girlfriend who is only partial to cycling but would like to do some short summer jaunts out in the countryside at the weekends and some commutes around SE LDN, so using...
Cannondale Rack
....as inspiration I'll start trawling for bits and bob to make a half decent bike out of it.
First off there is some repair work to the driveside dropout and then we take the frame to Armorex for a RAL of her choosing.
All I have at home is a tyres, stem and seatpost, but I guess that's a start, I'll need to source everything else.
Forks
headset
handlebars (riser - she prefers a more upright position)
brake levers / gear shifters
front and rear derailers
crankset / chainring (pref tripple to begin with)
Saddle
Wheels
Cassette
front rack.
