Always loved your Dolan Gabe.

hah, one one these sentences just doesn't belong here....
EM is so close to the c-record pista guise it deserves. I've been riding it in fair weather (whenever that was) but with atacs/donor rear wheel. It's all good, just need something to replace the practicalities that the merlin had. bigger tyres (foul) weather proof, packable, etc... which the cervelo doesn't offer. Bit like TM's cx actually, hmmmmm.
So you did sell the Merlin?

Didn't see that post, yeah it is nice, was just saying today it's truly a great all rounder. Road rides, commuting, light off roading... Would happily take it touring too.
You can do much nicer than a Boardman though, Dammits future time machine for example. For the money though, with some tweaking, the boardman is awesome.

Is it possible to get hoods for these shifters anywhere?
Or I shouldn't bother and just get a NOS pair of levers for 20 euros? -
• #89259
BL-R600 hoods fit, can't find a UK seller at the moment but they are current product so any bike shop will be able to get some from Madison
-
• #89260
^^ Do you know of NOS of those?

swapped it. despite being a beautiful frame, it was never quite right for me*. It was a pure cx race frame, which is what is doing more of now, i believe.
*starting to feel the EM and master piu are the same, could just flog them both and get a deposit down for a custom, or a 2nd hand indy fab/moots/badass something. wish that Saffron frame (on here recently) had been a bit bigger... that would've been perfect.

Used?
That doesn't sound clever.
Another vote for black. Gumwalls have their place, but that ain't it.
