Update of bars on the colnago has meant I can afford a slightly more comfortable bar setup on this.... Just need to wait for the track to open again.

yes, was debating geting some (cheap lightly used)da carbon clichers from 10/11 speed era, but web trawls say cassette spilines are diff , so will probably plumb for cosmics

I think only the WH-7800 range got the deep spline 10-speed-only aluminium cassette rotor, it was quickly replaced by the 7850 with the standard HG spline Ti rotor, which carried over to 7900. WH-9000s are for 11-speed but can take any other HG cassette (7/8/9/10-speed) with appropriate spacers to fill up the gap.

Nice! A friend of mine is selling off some new carbone wheel sets at a rreasonably good reduction price but it's still a shit tonne more money than I can afford.
Was contemplating these: http://www.lfgss.com/thread115641.html

so with these i should be fine and dandy with a 9 speed cassette? -
• #83918
Can't see from that thumbnail, check the model number. Anything but 7800 will work with 9-speed.
-
• #83919
they're not 7800...aren't they 7900 c24?

Just put DSP bartape on the Pompino (which is still waiting for a fucking seatclamp, cheers CRC). Feels very nice and was so easy to wrap, could tempt me away from microtex.
