some serious rad going on here

  • inspiration from the ti bike with Hookworm saarf?

no Edward , inspiration from JAH

  • the drive side decals are pretty shot

and the paint is textured hard touch, so hard to replicate cost efficiently (the frame only cost me a pony)

i cleared the ds stay of corrosion

until i decide what to do
has some quite intricate cable guides at seat post area

was only made for one year, the gruppo is beat up, so i may just try to air brush where needed, then i won't lose all of the ''hard touch''
would like to keep the drops for the craic, but as far as i know, campagnolo don't do 8x3 shifters

  • bikes that look like....

    I'm going to assume that's a compliment.

    Thanks.

Love the brake bridge and cable guides.

Campag didn't make separate double and triple shifters: all mine have five stops for trimming and to cope with either set-up.

    .

  • Any issues with a titanium seatpost in a titanium frame? They're not going to become as one are they?

Not if you using a good anti-seize compound. But you should be using this at all points of contact between titanium and any other metal including steel and aluminium alloys if you want to avoid galling.

  • Thanks Os!

    [googles "galling"]

cheers, so 8 speed should cover all ills,
I may have a crack at it then

  • Kind of got bored of grey so I unbuilt and destickered the Brodici...

  • Where's painting it and quelle couleur?

  • Was thinking Armourtex if they can get some decals under the lacquer. Otherwise rattlecan job, maybe.

Not sure what sort of processes the plumber's epoxy on the toptube can hande. Undecided on colour.

  • French is the new english TM ?

How tall are You Apollo ?

    Gios Bleu is fresh !

  • Not powder coating, that's fo sho.

  • French is the new english TM ?

How tall are You Apollo ?

    bien sûr!

    I'm about 2m in metric numbers... that's a big frame :)

  • TM might have another go at smoothing it down and give it a primer coat to see if it shows through. Hoping not, in which case maybe something stupid like hot pink - otherwise something dark 'n' stealthy

  • Give it a good rub then a few coats of primer, should be reet.

  • nodder yellow is the new gray

  • Really enjoying commuto-Argos, probably should install sealed components now winter's here:

  • Long mudflap dude, longest one you can put on it, then you won't have to worry too much about getting water and dirts on your crankset/feets.
