Sorry but you must be more precise, I'm French.
Just for fun !
Excuse my French. It is a lovely bike. Where in France are you stationed?
Wheelbase is the distance between the center of both wheels. And whats the size of the frame? It's probably just me being blind but the wheelbase seems a bit short. Nevertheless still in love with your bike!

Advice please:
My seat post is at max extension but I need another few mm height.
I am using Look cleats, the grey ones with 4.5 degree float.
If I swap these for black ones with 0 degree float will they be flatter and give me more leg extension?
Any other ways to squeeze out some more height? The problem is that I quite like the seat post, don't mind changing for a higher saddle if needs be.*Thanks
move your cleats a bit towards the heels of you shoes.

Gaston what brake calipers is it on your bike?
-
• #83206
Link mikey? I cant see them on the website and I'm curious as to the price.
they retail about £100, Velodromeshop had them on sale for £50ish but only in 49t and maybe another odd size.

Looks like they could be bontragers.
-
• #83208
Damn, for £50 I would have been tempted to try them and some shimano road cranks on my track bike

I've now purchased everything I need for the sscx bike, apart from erm... a frame and fork. Think I'm gonna have to stump up for new Pompino, just gotta wait for the student loan to drop.
-
• #83212
What about that white pomp someone was selling on ere?
-
• #83213
I think that was a large, I'm gonna need an XL
-
• #83214
Sure? I looked at sizing and thought large would do for me, and thought we ride similar size.
-
• #83215
Nah, XL is still only about 57cm c-t. My Pompetamine is XL and I still have miles of seatpost showing.
-
• #83216
Yeah, that. I've ridden a large Pompetamine, and that was definitely too small for me. It's annoying that the Dolan FXE doesn't have cantilever mounts, as that would have been perfect.

thanks hugo7
could you explain the inverse shim to me?It's a shim, that acts as a reducer.

Can anyone direct me to the Ti king bottle cage-a-likes that have been discussed on here before?
plz.thnx
-
• #83222
Ah you edited :) Dont know which you mean tho. The stainless kings are pretty affordable unless you are set on the Ti ones.
-
• #83223
I found the stainless ones to be cheapest at total cycling when I bought them. they might have the ti too. I think charlie the bike monger had them at a good price too.
-
• #83224
I thought there were some Ti (possibly far east) jobbies. They have the stainless ones in Kinoko for £15.99 so maybe I'll just do that.

Stole this pic from HoKe's Facebook photos after he took some pics of the Omnium after track today.
Decent sized stem and bling ring are the latest updates. Probably gonna save for some nice tubs in time for the Olympic velodrome opening.
