Been getting my wheelbuild on with winter seemingly not too far away now.
First up some Formula / Mavic A319s as a cheapo but solid new wheelset for my pompino
Then some 105 / Velocity A23s for my winter road bike project.
Picked up a 531c Condor frame off eBay a while back and got some 1" threadless carbon forks to go on. Going to put a 105 5600 group on it and chromoplastics for some happy winter riding (I hope)

Thats the nicest pomp' i ever seen

That condor will be nice, 531c is a lovely, lively ride. That combined with the sunny colour should help ward off those winter blues...

..I feel like a bit of a prick for having a triple chainring..
put a racing triple on my winter steel, has much improved my aged body's enjoyment of cycling in the cold rain

I reckon you shouldn't have painted it.

Here's my current project so far. Needs a paint job but I kind of like it ratty.

Great forks, TT frame converted to tarck?

Cheers guys, not shure of the frame make, I'm going to totally strip the paint back soon and hopefully find out what it is.

Fitted new saddle and seatpost today:
seems like a definite improvement to the old turbomatic and thomson elite.
As a matter of fact, I pretty much changed all the parts since the initial build, all what's left is the stem and front wheel.
It's nearly finished, just waiting for the rear rim to arrive from italy (fingers crossed, haven't heard one good thing about
the poste italiana) and to decide on some new decals since I got an opportunity to replace the shitty old die cut decals
with free custom silkscreen. Any advice? Thinking white outlines would look lush. Old build for reference sakes:

^^^+1 for the campag aero - Love that bike, especially the top tube - such good work. Turbo lite looks so clean on it too

RVL: it is Halfords stock clear coat. used it few times recently, i find it one of the best, really durable, great finish.
Good tip - Thanks, I think I'll be using that as patina-preservative on my Bob Jackson sometime soon.
i really like the print........ and great build.
Yeah, keep the print, I say.
Saddle is cool! You don't see concors with print very often, definitely collectable (if you care hah)
Cheers chaps - It's really grown on me!, I'll definitely be keeping it...

A small tip would be to wipe it down lightly with acetone or something first to make sure there's no moisture or grease to get caught under it.
