    FFS.

  • better image!

That looks fresh... get a little mint coloured palm tree on the top tube & it'll be straight Miami Vice

  • grey, white and pink look great together.

it's like a fun version of rapha.

  • This is my latest effort in the making. Picked up the frame from Sizmon for a give away price. I believe he has the Ti Katana currently available for £600 which is crazy. Loving the zero rake bar-spinable forks & unusual seat stay setup. Can't wait to get it finished but its gonna take about another month... just in time for some sunshine hopefully. Will keep posting pictures of this project in the making

Oh, & if anyone's looking to visit Armourtex for a white powder coat job, let me know as I have a couple of components wot needs the treatment... and the more the cheaper & merrier! :)

fucking nice, but don't make it into another black and white bike, especially with those parts. Needs a touch of colour or shiny metal or something.

I like b&w though... I've got a Nitto stem & bar setup which I plan to white up. The seatpost is a black Nitto 72 & the rear hub is a black Level & the saddle is a SM regal with old school copper rivets. I plan to continue falling off it though so there will be some silvery scuffs and a bit of blood here & there.

...maybe you can come over and paint my valve caps orange or something?

-1, come on, it has to be black and white.

  • Black and white seems too much "I couldn't decide on which colours to use so I stuck with B+W" too many bikes out there like that. Get like and orange saddle, and yeah orange valve caps at it will make a world of a difference.

Nevertheless, you'll do what you think looks right anyway, fucking expensive parts on that thing :)

  • if i had that frame i would decide to go black and white. anyway woohoo it's sunny.

1.Please don't leave your bike around Deptford as I would probably chew through your lock just to have that bike.

    1. You know you want to put a black tyre on the rear it'd blatantly look sick
  • yeah orange valve caps

    Silence! I kill you!

  • new trick bike i want to build up eventually. none of these parts will actually be on it just found some random stuff in the garage to see what it looked like! Think i want some white wheels when funds allow and new cranks then im done probably white risers too. Thanks to mconkey for the frame

  • I've been working on my girl's (now my wife) bike since the begining of the year, it's my first build and both me and her is happy with it!

I got the frame off ebay and Armourtex did there magic. Most of the bits I found of old bikes at work and restored them.
I converted the dinomo ligths to LED cos all those wires just looks crap and the seat I nicked off an old ice cream van at work ;-) the gearing is a sweet 46/22 on a freewheel just the thing for a lady.
It still needs the Wald basket & Honjo fenders but there is just no money for it.

  • Just finished this project - it's for sale though... sadface

  • @ 4thasssin; That is dope. I'm doing something for the gf atm but it's nowhere near as good. (Huf!)

  • yer 4th that whip is awesome

    cheers dude

  • Finished the track bike for Good Friday as I originally planned, and finally got to ride it round the track at this mornings session. Its lighter than I thought it was gonna be, and the transmission makes no noise whatsoever, you'll never hear the bike coming, but you'll hear me huffing and puffing as I strain to pass before the finish line.

Got the frame from Jos and Keith @ Tour De Ville, don't know who made it, but its got a nice fork, and lugs, and has the number 6701 stamped on bb and track end, anyone who knows what it might be let me know.. Got it resprayed at Colourtech, as yellow on a bike isn't for me, I'd have liked it to have been a slightly darker purple, but the colours close enough..

So you get some before and after pictures. Plus it built up in its natural habitat Herne Hill.

I couldn't have done it without the help, support and generosity of many of the forum members, you know who you are and your help was much appreciated. Managed to build it for more than I wanted, but less than i thought it would be...

  • nice mister Cornelius!!

"you'll never hear the bike coming" but I'm sure we will hear you scream "suckerssssssss"

  • looks awesome corny

  • the colour looks so different before and after being built up. very, very tasty.

  • That is lovely corny, do I see some purple on those tyres?

  • Too much red?

Maybe switch the red tyre to the front, possibly get a second red tyre to complete the look. Maybe black bartape is the way forward? Hmm..

  • too much red to be honest mate, but if you like to have a complete red tyres then go for it!

  • whatever you think looks good prime
