I have collected most parts (except frameset and wheels) for the next build. Its a road bike. I dont want to give it to a bike shop this time to get it built mainly because I want to learn how to build from ground up. The headset is going to be fitted by the frame seller. How should I go about it and not fuck up? Is there any shop/person on here who could teach and help (if needed) at the same time, possibly would need to borrow some tools. Of course I will pay.

It's easy, and very satisfying. Biggest pain in the arse first time round is setting up rear mech probably, pretty intimidating but actually a piece of piss once you have done it a couple of times. Park tools website is good for guides. I got loads of tools if you ever need to borrow anything

I saw the same setup of windows in warsaw, why are there two sets? I couldnt understand it.

the whole facade has non-even windows axes: 3/5/7/9 etc. with the 5er, divide the rooms behind them, two rooms get two windows, one one.

this non-even was because of compositional reasons. your eye automaticly leads to the center of the image, it is then more beautiful to look onto a window then onto wall.
look around, most facades have an uneven window arrangement. FE in Amsterdam, its mostly 3 windows due to the small allotment size.

This, it really is a piece of piss if you have even a little bit of patience and can follow instructions.

One tip, make sure you finish the ends of the cable outers as cleanly as possible (meaning, a smooth flat surface and not squashed or crimped). Makes a big difference.

Perhaps I have the wrong end of the stick here, but are you referring to secondary glazing as a means of thermal insulation? It's a bit like double glazing only it leaves the front of the house looking the way it should instead of looking shit as a result of fitting replacement windows e.g. upvc double glazing...

^could also be. but they were actually installed like that originally.. its like literal double glazing before one could technically produce modern double glazing i.e. two sheets of glass in one window sill.

yes, I've seen it in old houses in cold countries, and as you say, it pre-dates the sealed double glazing units.

Back to bikes - this week I've been working on creating scenic routes and mystery tours on elongated commutes before the long evenings dissapear....
Ended up here around 7pm this evening....
