So. Sexy. It. Hurts. May I ask how much you paid for this lovely frame?

Yo dawg...
Looks like Skinny has mounted his Kreitlers on rollers to mimic Elite eMotion rollers.
Why? I've not been using rollers for long but I don't really see what it would to the experience?
Also - surely if you can go sub 20 mins in a 10 mile TT, you can learn to pedal properly and not need buffers? :)

You can get out of the saddle and hoof it about without falling off and dying.
E-motion rollers by Inside Ride - YouTube
It's on my list of things to do before winter. I'm not fussed about adding buffers or whatever to stop me coming off the sides, but the benefits of free-motion look awesome.

ah - I've not attempted many out of the saddle efforts yet. Still getting used to them - so much better than a turbo and so far really useful for dialing in fit too.

Yes, means you can stand up and throw your weight around and full on sprint if you've the guts.
Also gives a more motion when just riding so is more comfortable to ride.I do 4h rides on them, so anything more comfortable is good.

Interesting.
Four hours on any stationary trainer though.. I'd rather be cold outside.
Did you follow a 'how to' for that? Or did you just work it out yourself - it needs it's own project thread really..

Saw a few things on youtube and just threw it together, super simple. But I did get an A* in GCSE Design Tech. So I am a certified PRO.
Now it's together, I'll re do it. But I wanted to see what it was like.
A few posts down there are some pics of one here. And it's not about being cold. It's about quality. But thats another conversation.

Agreed, I think there is a lot to be said for the consistency of the indoor trainer...

but not much to be said for the mind numbing boredom of it. For specific stuff, fine... but anything over 1.5 hours - I would rather be outside.
Wrong thread etc.

This has probably been covered many times before but why do you have all of your seatposts backwards?

These guys agree Gaston. Their road bikes (with clip-ons) do pretty well in my local TTs.
There are UCI regs that prevent riders sitting over the BB, otherwise it might be a more common sight I guess.

I really hope 4 and 5 are the same bike, not that you own two identical amazing bikes.
That's a really nice collection. Apart from the last one.

Now I need some new sram shifters. anyone got any?

Just bought some very nice tune MTB skewers thinking theyd be a little more heavy duty than road ones but they seem to be too long for my hubs. I know that the rear hub is obviously the wrong spacing but I was under the impression that most MTB hubs were 100mm like road hubs. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Would it be safe to trim off the excess skewer?

Might have a bit more thread to allow for bulky fork ends. Don't think trimming them will be a problem.
picked up this frame today. wheels are just for testing it out..
kind of need some ideas which this, any help is highly appreciated!
