yeah it is basically the same a cloth bar tape, but hockey tape is more widely available in a greater range of colours (I found), the rolls are also double the size at the same price. Why? I don't know, but it suits me.

Do it!! Go mad and give it a summer paintjob, then if you're sick of it by winter you can just get it powdercoated back to original colour :)
