i'll try and get a non-carbon Italian rear wheelDoes that feature with the curved triangular filled in sections of the frame have a special name? I'd love a frame with those.

got to ask, whats going on with the bars, and especially the stem?
Bars seem pretty ordinary to me?
The stem is just something I had lying around. I needed a short stem and this was a short stem, not about to go buy something else when I have something functioning going spare.

story so far re. Bambaataa
not had luck wiring up bullet shifters, so I know an old school bike mechanic,
fluent in Campagnology, whom I shall see on Tuesday to get finished, couple of little tweaks here and there and should be done -

I know those mech guards are period correct (I had one) but I wince whenever I see one- means the frame gets bent rather than the mech getting damaged.

still not sure on tyres, so I have some gum wall slicks coming, and I'll see how they look, in situ pedals aren't campagnolo, just generic, leaving Campagnolo in box when bike in use

I can't imagine they will look better than the Kojaks.

Any kind of slick tyre looks a bit wrong, Id get something similar to Tioga Comp III's they are knobbly but always rode well on the flat and was what everyone rocked on their BMX's

I know what you mean, but I saw some Schwalbe City Jet tyres on a vintage Cannonadle mtb that looked clean on, and i thought the gum colour would juxtapose nicely against the red of the frame, either way , I need some slicker tyres for my mutant, as it sounds like a Land Rover with the current tyres
also, done away with rear rack as did not use, just have to find some nice mudguards -

mutant is really an mtb frame, here are similar examples I found listed in Italy

how so? grip wise or they rip easy?
-
• #80170
Triangular tread profile makes them handle oddly, they are just cheap and nasty tyres for cheap and nasty bikes, your Colnago deserves better.

I'll keep for the mutant then, I was thinking of super motos, but they look a bit too militant imo

personally id cut the bars down a bit to shorten the reach to the levers then you could use a longer stem?

also nearly done
with the city jets, I was thinking of this image with gum walls as the mtb paint job is meant to be Saronni red
just got to wire up and add the freewheel -

Urgh, disgustingly nice. How many Colnago logos have you managed to get on there in total?

French thread dimensions but sensibly the drive side is left-threaded.
