A Polish friend of mine that is from the same town as Orlowski! He's planning big and beautiful things for it.
But Tommmmmm I realise I haz already black 75s.... Think I may leave omnoms on there, but swap out the 47t silver zen for the 51t black zen I haz.... and use the black DA 53t on the bumblebee instead.

This is current project, not bike porn.
Just sayin'.
This.
Bit harsh ripping someone new for their bikes... at least he didn't post them in porn as many others have done.

Friendliest forum on the internet™, officially.
Pay no heed to the mockers, they are just bitter because they are encumbered by something which has clearly never afflicted you...
...Taste.

you sure there is a paint underneath? he might have filled a dent in there (I am hoping for you there was never a dent)

The whole top tube is painted. I can tell the original paint is underneath because I can see it through some paint chips. It doesn`t seem dented...

Funnily enough, skidding doesn't mean stopping.

I already have 2 project in the making , but I just had to buy this Pearson anyway. So far I don't have too much information on the bike, but I am quite fascinated by the way the frame looks.
The frame is made by a builder from New Zealand called Pearson. I already contacted Graeme Pearson from Pearson Composites in New Zealand, but he didn't build it: "No, luckily I didn't make that. I think some guy in the south island was making those and mtb's years back." Above the 'Weka' decal it says 'road series' so I am not sure if this frame was actually meant to be built up as a time trial bike. The design seems to be inspired by early mountain bikes. The frame is red anodized, which explains why the welds look so fugly.
Wheels are 'Elite-Shape' which I believe was a Russian (USSR) company that also made kevlar disc wheels. The wheels look quite fascinating and have seen very little use.
Any more information on the frame(builder) and wheels would be greatly appreciated.

^ That thing is nuts. Have you ridden it?

• #78768
^^ cool story, keep us informed:)

Haven't ridden it yet, as the previous owner did a rather lousy job building the bike up. Cable routing for the FD was done totally wrong and the brake blocks are not carbon specific.

Nice! This was on marktplaats twice I think last year, also saw the wheelset offered seperately over a year ago. Someone must have put the two together without too much knowledge of bicycle assembly :p. The dark welds look kinda cool imo

How much does it weigh? Looks like a tank, a very cool one though.
Also looks like it should fold.

Nearly finished my first fixed build! Just need to get it put together
This looks lovely but is it just me or does it look like there is a lack of anykind of brake surface on that front wheel?

Pretty sure it's a Miche wheelset, which has a braking surface, although it does look suspiciously like there isn't one...

Riding Fixed with brakes is like wearing Condoms,
it just numbs the experience...
