Can someone explain to me how this lever works?
Lever pushes the outer cable to the left (from that angle), but holds the inner in place.

• #76838
Heh, you're doing good Regal.

It's late, we've all had a drink…
Can't get my head around this. Looks like it is pushing the outer rather than pulling the inner. Really looks wrong. Must have something to do with the bit of cable between both parts of caliper? Or maybe the Budweiser Budvar is screwing with me?
That's exactly what it's doing. They're called cross-top levers, and they can share a cable with aero drop levers - a better modern alternative to safety levers.
It is, but it doesn't matter as long as the outer is free to flex to accommodate the movement of its anchor point. In fact, the outer casing anchor point on side pull calipers always moves too, you just haven't ever given that end of the cable as much thought :-)
that's exactly what it's doing. you can always wire 'em up backwards
That is how all cross top levers work. It allows the levers to be used in conjunction with drop bar levers.
Yeah when i pull it the hole cable outer moves, as i obviously only pull it when holding the tops i need to make sure i move the figure on my right hand so the cable has room to move, bit weird but works.
Can someone explain to me how this lever works?

Those levers only work properly when mounted on a top tube.
Under the saddle also allowed.
The brake itself will be a disc, using the front chainring. -

Got to admit, the lever set up is shit! with those bars i mean.
ordered some Zenith bullhorns now, so i can put the lever in a more practical position.

Anyone know if these are double-allen bolts? Or where I can get them for a single ring?
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/bbb-bcr-50-fivestars-chainring-bolts/
You want the BCR-51 (Hexstars) for hex key both sides, the BCR-50 has slotted nuts, as you can see in this small picture. BBB don't do single ring bolts.

Thanks for the nerg, refreshing to receive such based on jokery, however lame. I shall now endeavour to earn your scorn on a more regular basis.

Just got this. The search for a long campy centaur post and a shamal/vento wheelset has begun. The plan is to also change the saddle to a white/silver rolls
and the pedals to some keo compatible ones. Any ideas?
