-
• #73686
not yet no, but i can get back to you when i get the frame, its not urgent, just for aesthetics
actually i got a question if you already have those forks, whats the clearance like? id like to fit 25c's

• #73687
i run 25c gators fine, i think you'd fit 28c no problem too.

Current project that I have done no spannering on but have been waiting very patiently for:
Geekhouse Brentwood which was featured on the Brooks stand at NAHBS and is now winging its way to me
I've wanted a Geekhouse since I first saw dogsballs' low pro years ago on here.. I ordered a low pro to start with but then realised that a geared and practical bike would actually be much better in hilly Sydney, so I've gone for an Alfine 11 and discs, as well as a touch of lairiness with the paint..
Can't bleeding wait!

Nice looking ride, custom racks or oem?

They're both velo orange.. One thing that I wish that I had asked for is to have a D-lock holder integrated into the front rack, like this

This is on the way to me

Yellow is the obvious choice, but I saw this and thought "meh".

The Joe Waugh? i guess i just want them to look a bit 'tighter' and to fit a larger tyre to.

Scilly Suffolk- maybe a yellow Flite or rolls could look good with yellow tape?
-
• #73696
tape
red is faster
purple is braver -
• #73697
Pretty sure a yellow saddle would be OTT being as I'm not that keen on yellow tape, but I'll have a look for some builds with one. I was thinking of a black saddle with some yellow detail.
Sure everyone knows red is faster, but isn't purple more papal?

Did some front end adjustments to the BeeMC last night. Chopped a good 1/2" off the steerer, fitted original campag hoods, and rewrapped the bars. It now has a white'n'carbon saddle. So I was going to do the bartape in white 1.8mm lizard skins. But then I found some yellow 2.5mm lizards skins. Had a brain fart and decided to do the drops in thin white tape, and the tops in cushier yellow tape. Looks really silly. So I like it.

to use colour you need a clean build

That will rattle like a mother, even on the Globe with it's integrated D-lock hanger, it's very annoying.
yeah they should be able to no problem
