I did a test run last night, the light isn't that bright actually. It lights up the road ok, you can't see it really with road lights being on. it becomes more of a saftey light then.

Some progress to the kaff. Waiting for some bar-end shifters, a tubus rack and a few other bits (the rest..).

spacers gonna space
-
• #67471
Well, it'll be my practical bike/tourer. Comfort over cred.

Still, we always put a max of 3cm spacers underneath the stem. When you have a lot more there will be to much pressure on the stem.
Short said, the frame is to small. -
• #67473
The XL frame would be too big. So this is the way it's gon' be.
Will probably swap the stem for a high-rise one later on though.
And the maximum amount of spacers can be discussed. 3-5cm, and thats on carbon forks..

Give the lad a break, it's not his mother tongue
I've been using a dutch bike with a mounted dynamo light. You get a shadow above stuff on the road (potholes, rocks, discarded kfc etc) which is actually good for spotting things. So long as you angle it downwards enough I don't think it's much of a problem for oncoming traffic.
