    Ghetto £140 China beater.

Nice, is that an ebay job?

  • Nice, is that an ebay job?

Yeah. One of these with some small changes:

Fugly welds and such. But feels pretty solid.

  • 'very light 10.5kg'?! its a bargain but aint very light.

  • Tidy work. There might be a market in that...

This was just done as a quick favour, he's been working on his own bag which so far looks like this...

  • I thought the seatpost on the Dolan looked Ti... it's one of these...

    Blingggg.....

  • p(i)mp

'Winzip' brakes! Takes me back. Does it have Limewire cables too?

I think you've done a great job with yours, and you can't really make out the welds in the picture.

Chain's a bit slack though! And are you thinking of changing the forks?

  • swapped in new built rear wheel, and a longer stem.
    lots of fun to ride.

  • My HHSB has just had its winter filth taken off, now i'm off to town to get some new bar tape so i can treat it to its upgrade

Were you crossing the road just south of Southwark bridge yesterday?

  • I commute down that way, so very possibly. Hi!

  • Lots today/ yesterday.
    http://www.lfgss.com/post2884631-8.html
    Lots still to do.

  • "Finished" my Fuji. Maybe it still needs crabon fork. Also considering a different stem and bullhorns combination in the future.

  • S'nice.
    Big drop.

  • Think it look very nice.

bullhorn may required a slightly shorter stem, or try brake hood lever as they're likely to be slightly cheaper.

  • As my Lo-Pro is going to be taking the role of super-sled in my stable I've decided to 'sensible-up' my previous HHSB a bit. Gave it a damn good clean, totaly stripped and re-oiled the chain and got the magic three; Bont bars, Fizik soft-touch and sram s500's.

Saddle position needs tweaking and I need a better stem too, I'm open to suggestions (must be 26.0mm though).

If anyone wants to do the biro spring trick on with the S500 levers I recommend taking the small side panel off first on the inside of the lever so you can cut the cable shorter and keep the whole movement inside the lever.

  • God damn that is nice. Well built. Now i want crabon forks and a fast front wheel too..

  • Spotter that looks sweet!

    Some changes to the Dolan...

New bars, 3rd hand tape, and some brakes and levers i had lying about. Went on a killer hilly ride this afternoon and I've fallen in love with this bike. Such a nice ride, and so comfortable...

And sorry Regal, saddle is dead comfy I'll be keeping it on there.

  • ^^that frame and groupset are a perfect aesthetic match imo

  • What length... I have Zipp one... 120mm though.

Sounds good but 120mm is way to long sorry, that current one is either 90mm or 100mm and its just about right.

  • Now lets see if we can change gear swiftly and smoothly at the front.

  • Treated myself to a Vigorelli frame with the 20% off Wiggle had over the weekend
