Finally got my favourite frame built up again:
The glossy black tape looks insanely tacky and I regret going for it but it does match my glossy black Sidis so I guess I can live with it. I have a brake and hoods to be fitted but need a shorter stem first (they will be on different bars with more reach). It will also be getting a Spinergy then as it's the only wheel I own with a braking surface.
Incidentally a wet rush hour was probably not the wisest time for MyFirstRoadPedals® but my feet seem to have learned to clip in pretty quickly which I'm putting down to the abject fear.

can't find any info online
Because there isn't any, i.e. nothing to worry about on
https://www.google.com/search?q=giant+omnium+fork+recallThey probably warrantied a few which got broken by twats using track frames on the road. At this stage in the history of crabon fribé, I think I'd trust a monocoque fork more than a built-up carbon/Al job.

He did frequently do endos on it. And crash. And he's owenreed.
Original ones were drilled, replacements weren't. He probably still has them.

Well got something new ... couldn't stop myself :(
way too small for me though.NOS Somec with Columbus EGO tubing ... i guess it's from the mid nineties. Has XL91 stamped in the BB, but I don't think EGO was around in '91.

So i stripped it.
Doing that made me want do change some other things on it. Does someone have some black grips or a 110 BCD 46/47 chainring lying around for cheaps? On a scale 1-10 how bad will the test-drive be with this seat?

Just completed, saddle/rack angle need a little adjustment.
Unsure of the frame maker, apparently from mosquito bikes in early 90's made from 531st. Fitted with Sora/105. Will be taking me on my summer holiday this year if everything goes to plan.
