Saddle to BB of 66cm = much more aero.

With the front clearances that tight is it worth switching the fork out for something a bit more relaxed?
Looks tighter than it is there... popped a 120 stem on it which I am sure some folks will have opinions about, but I hate short stems and it will slow the steering down a wee bit.

hello guys i need a bit of advice please. last week i leant my bike against a friends whilst locking up. it wasnt really hard at all but clearly hard enough to do this:
so now i owe my friend alot. does anyone know if there is an easy way of fixing this? (eg. buying a new lever casing or what have you) i dont really have the money to pay for a new lever and it seems silly that this flimsy bit of plastic could be holding the whole lever in place?
any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that little black nobby is there on my Rival levers therefore I assume it serves as a hinge and that he's knocked of the nook that it sits in?

If it wasn't a hard lean, maybe the plastic was to weak, no warrantee?
-
• #58885
This doesn't sound right.
you lean your bike on his, and then suddenly the levers break, and they're not exactly easy to break.
I highly doubt such force of laying your bike beside his would result in that, reckon the lever was broken already that leaning your bike against his was the last straw.

Yeah your friend owes you big! Take the rest of his bike as payement but make sure he fixes that lever first.

What finish is this? Do like.
-
• #58891
The bit that's broken is part of the lever body which supports the lever. SRAM do not offer the body as a spare. Even if they did you would have to disassemble the complete lever and shifter mechanism and transfer it to a new body. You're best bet is look for one on eBay .. I've seen single levers offered in the past.
