  • DF3 with the training wheels.

  • I recently bought mks toe clips size L but they are too small to fit my shoes. Are there any clips that will fit a size 12 shoe?

Are you wearing massive skater boy shoes? I'm size 12 too and have Genesis clips in size L, and apart from big Clarks cloggers they'll take any shoes.

  • Easton crabon track bars are grippy enough without tape

  • What are those wheels KC?

  • That Feather is perfect, I'd says even better than the original set-up which doesn't look quite right.

  • What are those wheels KC?

Miche hubs with carbon rims .
    Bought them off pistofski

  • DF3 is a fucking super sled, so good.

  • Fuckingggg sweet KC. Love it in both wheel guises.

Talk to me re: Miche hubs, LBS is adamant the Primato road hubs are good for wheel build over Ultegra.

  • Hubs are sweet, never used road version though got dura ace hubs on my road bike.to be honest I find it hard to find difference between these and durace track hubs.

  • Ah nice one, you'll love it in this weather.

Cheers boss, it was a perfect day. It was so much fun and I can only imagine it gets better. I will definately be pursuing this track business.

There were some serious looking bikes out today.

  • Inductions can be pretty slow for obvious reasons which is good, but get in a devil or team pursuit and feel the rush! How'd the bike get on?

  • great stealth machine kc, hope it will bring you some seconds.

  • ^^^ The bike was perfect. I've had it set up as a road fixed for ages so I'm comfortable with my position on it. Just upped the gear to 46x14, swapped out the bars/stem combo for the same ones without the S900 levers, removed the brake and put Time RXS Carbon pedals on. I could of happily sat there all day.

  • ^ awesome, now you just need to out spring everyone in the 2 up drills to make you feel faster than them, then sit at the back to recover for a while.

  • I accidently did that today. We were being sent in groups of four to catch the back of the other group and I was first out so gave it a bit of power and when I looked back noone else had stayed with me. Not my intention but it felt damn good.

  • Hats off to you Regal - stunning bike.

  • great stealth machine kc, hope it will bring you some seconds.

Hope so will need it in the masters.

  • I accidently did that today. We were being sent in groups of four to catch the back of the other group and I was first out so gave it a bit of power and when I looked back noone else had stayed with me. Not my intention but it felt damn good.

Had the coach not instructed you to change every half lap?

  • Yeah he had, but there were so many people on the track that you'd caught the other group within less than a lap and I hadn't noticed the lack of followers until I'd gone to let the person behind me through to take his turn at the front.

  • After a 40 something (significant part where we got lost on a cx track) mile ride yesterday, its set up and indexed properly, though may need a bit of a saddle rise. Feels fast.

  • Just about finished, undecided on the porteurs, need a dif stem anyway as its shimmed to buggery at the mo. Got some drops I'll prob use instead(also taped white cloth)
Taurus frame w/campy headset from Jogger
    Campag hubs, Ascent rims
I had the Zaffiros lying around but will get something nicer for summer when funds allow
TA chainset 47-18, might go 19 on the back to tuck the rear wheel in a little tighter and to save my knees, nos TA cups and axle
Gr9 pedals/blb clips and straps which have lasted a couple of years and are fine
    Dia-compe clamp on brake
Brooks I chopped from a complete wreck years ago and feeling wonderful
    600 seatpost

Still need to give the hubs a service and would like an 1/8" ta ring in 47t ideally to beef up the drivetrain as my cog could do with replacing as well.

  • nice! why change bars?

  • Got a stem and drops I can pop in as required. Just switch the cable and they're good to go.
The Belleri bars are 25.4mm clamp, only got a 3ttt at the mo thats long enough to compensate for the backsweep of the bars and even with a few layers of irnbru shim they're slipping so need to do a swapsie for something with a 25.4mm clamp.
