Almost finished this project. Colnago Super Pista with c-record/shamal pista. The frame served as danish track champion Hans Henrik Ørsteds training bike in the 80's.

  • Hot.

  • This is my current project just waiting for the groupset...

Looking* forward to seeing this built. It's going to be a total logo eye-riot :) Make sure you get a big logo Deda stem and one of the San Marco's with the logo printed BIG across the saddle!

What grouppo you putting on it? Needs campag imo..

    *pun intended

  • Frame logos are much more restrained than my 585 Ultra

  • Indeed, but still nothing compared to the vast majority of tt machines including my Q Roo!

  • Ooh logos! Can I post a pic of my 595 again?

  • Toby taking on Benjammin with the dopest 2 bikes on here.

  • And am jealous of someone else's GT again!

  • I think you might get away with it...

  • Frame logos are much *much *more restrained than my 595

  • Who makes those wheels?

  • Hed?

  • Not a real project, but got this:

Now to make it lighter. Needs cabr0n.

  • Forum member number6 just helped me build up this beauty. Not fixed but lovely all the same. It's a carlton mixte from 1950s I think. Still has lots of the original paintwork left. :) Rides like a dream.

    This is handsome!

  • Now to make it lighter.

Remove decals from top tube - that will knock a kilo off

  • groan.

  • Thought you were getting a comfortable Sunday road bike....?

  • Can't get more comfortable than armrests.

  • preuss

  • got written 'dangerous' all over. like it! wonder if tt position would improve with a straight seatpost

  • and crank_girl - absolutely lovely bike. I could imagine comfort would even improve with the the seat horizontal (or the bars flipped)

  • Gaston FR I love your taste in bikes that is f'in great

  • Not my CP, but my dad just got one of those clever new SRAM 2-speed automatic hubs. I have to say I am fairly impressed with the smoothness of the changing, although I would prefer it to change at a slightly higher cadence in both directions. There feels like a certain amount of hysteresis which I guess is necessary to stop jumping. He's very happy with it on his new pompino for his 5-mile, kingston bound commute.

  • I'm interested to hear this, had bad luck with the SA 2 speed.

  • this page was full of win and rep before the next wonderful French freaxie showed up
