bontrager ssr vr-c.. Easy obtainable, cheap compact drop for 26mm clamp.. Got me one for my racer Gazelle.. And probably also one for the tourer Gazelle, once I've tested it on the roadbike..

If the Airwings don't work out on my build, I may well give these a try...

Waiting on Royal fail for the stem! But I also need a seatpost and some double cages.

Seatpost size?

Looking for 26.6mm. Having a few issues with the seat clamp though. It's a little out of shape so trying to figure out something that works without getting a seat post jammed in too tight.

Really enjoyed putting this together, met a number of forumengers and collecting parts was a laugh.
here it is, and thanks to Tommmmm, papercrate, yeahnerdz, 1000archangels, King Saxlingham as well as Micycle and Full City for this grand production
Grand total in the region of 40 squids
still needs brakes, grips and I may narrow the bars a few cm

There were some nice Mavic bullhorns in classifieds last week, which I would of snapped up if I hadn't bought airwings :)

After some "adjusting" I managed to fit one of the seatposts 44/17 kindly gave me a few weekends ago. The seatpost clamp area is a bit out of shape but managed to get a 26.8 post to go in without too much fight.
I've got everything to complete the build bar stem (in the post right now). I'll buy some double clips next month I expect, but can live with the singles if it gets me on the road!

pink concorde is filth
Why so? It's certainly ratty, the paintjob has had it, but I don't think there's anything particularly offensive.
After the garish frame i'm keeping the rest conservative with black/silver.Okay so it's pink and not the bridgestone :p but what is so bad?

You misunderstand the meaning of "filth" in that context.

Is that a period seatpost? Looks out of place for some reason. IMO would look good with a modern groupset
