  • here's a great little rat bike i made for my mate a couple of weeks ago.

And here's my mate, taking his first fixed ride. Yes there is a little bit of 'little daddy wayne'
    about him.

my mate lives in no. 11!

  • So finally my beater is done!
kind of scary to ride but I´ll get used to it.

My bianchi is going throu a litte facelift as well.
Still looking for a white backwheel.
Stem with more drop, white riser and toshistraps.

    /cries

  • ^ my thoughts exactly!

  • look how low the BB is!

  • Nice quiver of bikes in the making there Boon

  • My Pre Cursa built up 2 weeks ago. 7.2 kg and very quick...

  • that look rather straightforward, track or street intended?

  • @lukeyb i've met them 2 guys and a girl i think, med students? nice guys. Edit thats no.9 i'm tlaking about.
he was only brakeless for a few goes round the block, left the bike with me til i could get an old long drop for him. He loves it although he wants "new bars and a new stawky bit" ha!

It is used on the road only.

  • Here's my mate. Yes, there is a little bit of big_daddy_wayne in him.

I don't believe a word of it. Take it back, or I'll fight you.

    Wayne doesn't roll like that.

    ....Cough....

    ;)

  • Got the frame back from Vaz today.... not long now :)

Why go for a stem with more drop when you got 3cm
    of spacers to remove?!??!

    Turn the stem upside down?

  • Turn the stem upside down?

    Then it will point up.

    7.2 kilo? wow, congratulations
    is that alu frame then?

  • shall i put my zipp on it?

  • That looks like a fun ride!

Yes, alu frame with carbon/alu fork. Moved from a Steamroller frame to this which is very much disproving the alu harsh/steel comfy argument. It is easily as comfortable as the Steamroller (ridden 4 30 mile rides on it so far) it just accelerates and climbs much better as it is very stiff.

i can see you have no valve caps on, dont tell thats to shed weight.

  • tange steel?

  • yeah maybe! I couldn't get the stem out the forks on that frame so looking for other options!

Don't underestimate the rotational weight that a valve cap adds at 3 grams!

No, not to save weight, I just don't see the point of them.
