My recent project has been finished for a few weeks now... thanks to help form a fair few people on here. Here is a montage of the parts removal which was a complete nightmare.
Lot's off miss information on this frame too but I managed to get to the bottom of it's history.
Painted it in 74 colours even though it was a 73 as I didnt want two bikes painted the same, and it's had a tube replaced so I figure that makes it a year younger.

^^What stem is on there Tom? Ti I presume? Or 3ttt Pro chrome/ITM Eclipse polished up?
the stem is an unknown maker titanium 120mm i got from ebay canada but it's the best built ti stem i have ever seen - on par with moots/IF for welding and really nice details up close - will take some pics at some point.
Really liking that tilover. Btw, what seatpost's on there? I've been looking for something with no setback that suits my 3ttt PC.
the seatpost is a ti kent erikson - absolutely lush too.
Massive chainring.. ace
and the chainring is just a 53t, i had a 56t but it interferes with the sturmy gearing because the chainstays are so short!
the 53 gives me three good gears, top at 92.9 for downhills, mid 69.6 for flat and 58 for up hill... makes it much more fun in yorkshire hopefully -

ooo.. I've got something similar coming your way soon.
Definition redefined.
I just finished this - P1 brakless skidder for winter. Come at me snow!

Current project with change of tires, sprocket (16t - 15t) and chainring (36t - 42t) and minus the bash.
Needs a new 90-100mm stem and a flat bar I'm thinking. And looking at carbon MTB forks on ebay, as I want to lighten it a bit, make it more comfortable for longer rides, lower the front end and shorten the wheel base to make up for the longer stem to get a more comfortable stretched out position.

Nice gazelle! Saddle angle looks a bit odd or is it the photo angle?

Yes

thanks! saddle angle's fine I think, feels fine right now but I guess things will want tweaking at various stages. yeah they are open pros, sort of wish I didn't get black rims now though.

Just measuring this up to see if my chainline is in the ball park, so I can design any necessary offset into the forthcoming custom Fibrelyte chainring

T3 not pretty, VumaChrono not pretty or putting them together not pretty?

Nice, but this baby deserves gears, please!

The cranks. I'm not a fan of the square end and general design. I'd imagine they're strong and aero, but those two factors don't always result in beauty.

I think they'll disappear a bit once there's a Look Keo Blade Aero in front and a disc behind. I quite like the aesthetic, but they're obviously not C-Record elegant

^interest has been piqued. sounds like a lot of interesting flat shiny surfaces right there.
-
• #53373
No flat surfaces anywhere as my disc is lenticular

I bet you say that to all the girls.
