do not like the stem

Second this, not super sticky but sticky enough to give you a bit more grip.
Really? All my friends and I (back in the day) must have always bought the cheap stuff. I tried it a couple of times on handlebars, and literally had to use turpentine to get it off my hands.

Hah, that's the only original part left. It's staying as it was made for this frame, and what else would suit such a massive head tube.

imbalanced with the more delicate bars and wrap

I don't think the classic drop shape works that well aesthetically, not sure how a different bar could work in terms of delicate though- 31.8mm clamp, 44cm bars.

The Scobletastic spacer stack is doing it no favours, aesthetically.

Looks pretty serious with the SRM cranks. I can't get used to 1 1/4" steerers and stems though, it just seems unneccesary and makes the front of the bike look too bulky.

I swear i saw this last night going east down clerkenwell, isn't it broken? maybe i miss saw
you are not imagining things, was me on the damaged and squeeeking culprit.
was it's last ride, the frame has now entered the realm of legends (*proud).thanks for all the seat post offers, i underestimated wiggle. postman knocked this morning and made my day.

It's my continuing homage to the great man.

In 2007 when it was new it was the stiffest production road frame around, courtesy of Cannondales "fuck it, lets make it massive and see what happens" approach.

I'm clueless about riding with powertap and similar systems. What form does the data from your SRM unit take and how do you access it? Does it show on your Garmin?
-
• #53117
If you have more money than I do and can afford a wireless power meter then it transmits its information to your Garmin via ANT+.
The one I have is wired, and runs to an SRM headunit- where it displays your current/average wattage, as well as the normal stuff.
You can then download loads of metrics (heart rate, speed, cadence, power, distance) when you get home and nerd out over the graphs.

I see. A nice way of checking on progress if you're training.
And a nice toy.

Bingo X 2
I've been using a loaner powertap to tell me how feeble I am on the turbo, now this will do that as I work on increasing my FTP over winter.

Won't that happen first time it's ridden anyway? I've heard they are pretty useless at staying put.

George Sportif, I think the Diamant needs an aero seatpost, not a fluted one, seeing it is ergopower era kitted.. But hell, I (might be) biased, since that seatpost would be exactly what I'm looking for.. What groupset is on it? Mirage?
probably. it was in the vicinity at that time.
