Jammy, those wheels are the my perfect wheels.. Very nice.. What's the seatpost? And indeed, big chainrings FTW, on my current project (photo's to follow), 54t Dura Ace.. But not a ring as nice as yours!

The seatpost is USE but I've changed it out for a boring old Thomson recently as it was getting too creaky.
I'm still on the hunt for a DA/easton one. One day. -

Jammy, you got the wheels I want.. What's the seatpost?
USE? Ti Alien...or alu..
too late! What where your opinions on the USE other than creaky?

USE seaposts are lush. I have one, not using it but I can't remember why not.

..I have a DA-Easton one for my Current Project..;) Damn cable, can't upload photo's.. But it's 731OS, full Dura Ace 7402/7410/7600/7710..
But I believe the DA-Easton ones also are prone to breaking? -

they're pretty light, but they do creak due to the nature of the clamp design, I think they changed it now though.

But I believe the DA-Easton ones also are prone to breaking?Yeah they snap. But at least they give you no creaky warnings they're about to...

But I believe the DA-Easton ones also are prone to breaking?I don't recommend a Dura Ace Easton post, they're known to break where the seat clamp is bonded to the post. I have experienced this.

in that pic of Tilover of the saddle and the seat post, how the hell is the seat clap to the post?
-
• #49749
Cheers for the warning, but I do know indeed.. Got it quite cheap, and for reasons very well explained by 'loins, I just wanted it.. I have a 7400/7402 seapost too, so could always swap.. But that's an aero one, and would prefer a round seatpost.. It's also amazing how light that DA Easton post is.. That's why they fail probably..
