As always: too late. Got something similar off eBay (velo-spin, I bet it's a forumenger)
Next time just stop by and have a rummage through my pile of unused bike bits before you buy the frame? Kthxbye!

you are going to put some foot retention on that, right?
Foot retention? What's that?
goes back to drawing board

getting there, the brooks honey tape doesn't match the brooks honey saddle but a bit of cycling in yorkshire will sort that!
left to do:
sort the threads in the left shifter braze-on
set up gears front and rear
add a spacer to the BB
clean the wheels and true rear
tape left side of the bar
make some bar bungs
find a period correct bottle cage
stain chainstay protector to match bars and saddle
fit more practical tyres - probably 25c skinwall paselaBOSH.
photo.JPG by monomaniac(tom), on Flickrthe photo messed with my mind for a minute!!
get some proofhide on the tape....that will darken it a bit.

i dont know why he sold it so cheap but im not complaining. its in good nick apart from the fact you cant get out of the saddle when peddling because all the cogs are warped!!

One might question the legality of your mate's procurement of the above bicycle.
-

Sounds like it just needs a new cassette. Your local bike shop will have one and can fit it.

38liters of space available for gear at the moment. Still got to sort out some kind of tube shaped bag for tools to be carried in the bottle cage. Leaving in a week or something. Rostock to Paris. Still need to put ergo hood brake levers and a freewheel (just in case).
Any half decent bicycle shop should sell those Abus framebag, not the best, but it did help hold the necessary for the Dun Run.
I do recommend a back brake more than a freewheel, even on fixed, you'll find it's a lots more comfortable to not use your legs to slow you down every now and then (especially on descent).

I'm currently making a homemade version of this. Search for waxed cotton on ebay.

For £30?

No he bought it for full price several years ago

It must be the angle of the photo because those bars look like they need rotating forward.
I agree, the 'risers' are rising in the wrong direction

yeh, back brake would be pretty useful, even when riding fixed. Mainly going to ride along the coastline so hills wont be that major feature (I hope). Been thinking about a frame bag like that, might be pretty good for snack and camera and stuff like that.

They do and they were already adjusted. It's hard to judge the final position without a saddle and pedals. Anyway, I prefer them sweeping backwards, to be honest. The top tube is idiotically long.
