so I have gran sport 3 arm cranks and was planning on have my campagnolo record fluted post to match but prefer the look of the aero campagnolo one, is it weird to mismatch or am I being stupid as usual? both weigh the same and perform the same but how important is matching component eras on a vintage build you think?

Except that the SRAM includes the BB, and is about a million times better than the Miche
What chainline does the SRAM give?

You are doing well, when i was 14 i has a garden full of bits of Raleigh Burners, Raleigh Stylers (ask your dad) and outlines of bikes spraypainted on to the grass !

Just patched up the poor bit of painting from earlier and lacquered it and it is looking really good!

Maybe 42mm?
I have these cranks on my Nelson Pista. The chainline is 42 mm, and they are made for one chainring. It's only 3/32" though, so you might want to change chainring.
i've got the s 300 1.1 crankset on one of my bikes - 42 mm chainline

I accept your hypothesis that it may be 42mm.

Is it a Raleigh frame? I've never seen lugs like that on one before. Seems a shame to have gone to the effort to get the correct decals and then put them all over the shop?
Otherwise a good effortYeah, it is.. It's the one with a "CC" cut out bottom bracket shell.

That Raleigh is delicious. Is it track only? I ask due to the Campag Pista tubs.
Thanks.. Yeah, that's the track look.
I have another set of campagnolo high flange x rigida dp18's for the street rides.. -

Thanks for putting the post up!
Yeah, still trying to decide to build up a set of simple box rims x campy hubs for them or not..
Just liked the color match on the current setup.. -

Just rubbed one out to that raleigh track ti. superb.
Everything is epics, except when the frame got painted they went over the seat post bolt? Wheels work for me, as saddle, cog, chain, headset, seatpost all hint at a retro track racer; updated.
You got me!
That was a mistake, still waiting for a replacement seat post bolt to come.. -

Been slowly taking a liking to the on one midge bar, I know a few of you are running these, what's opinions, how do they feel? are they a good width (i'm 6'2, broad shoulders) and how is riding on the hoods at that angle? was thinking of getting them for my cx bike then probably my tourer if I like them. cx bike has STIs though, how's shifting at that angle as well?

I need a chain guide for my MTB as I'm running single front ring.
Seen the Paul's one discussed on this thread, but think there was also talk of some
home made ones from reflector brackets (maybe) Can someone point me in the direction
of the conversation please.
Thanks -
