This is the frame of the bottom Nocannondale, but does look quite similar to the top one, the 'new' one...

Nearly there, just need new saddle. Excuse the bottles/cages! Full D.A 7400/02 apart from SR bars and keo classics.

eh eh!
the geometry is alot different
the angles, the tubes sections, the high of the BB to the ground, etc.
This one (on this pic) was my first geometry and my first fixed gear experience. It was made not with a track geometry but not also with a road geometry.
The new one have a much tighter geometry and thinner tubes (also Easton scandium tubes) and a higher distance of BB to the ground. The angles of the seatube and head are now 74,5 and that didn't happen with the "nocanondalle" :)
The "black one" if perfect to ride long distances but as tight as the new one will be. I'm curious to see how this new frame will ride. -

DO it.naaaaaaaaaaahh! I was joking ;)
i promisse to keep this one locked :)
...i can't say the same about the new project. And i will need all your help to decide the colour... -

I left my frame to cure on top of the boiler in the airing cupboard, I just checked on it. The bloody thing must have over balanced in the night some time and lent up against a bit of cloth. It now has a nice cloth textured patch on the TT and DT!

Do it all over to give you a interesting matt look.
In all seriousness that sucks. But at least by the end of this you'll have perfected your spraying skills.

IMO it should be a bright colour. It has a retro, but slightly lairy look to it. So I'd say flick through some 90's colour schemes.
My choice (in order) would be:
Yellow (either banana or LOOK-style)
Orange (either bright metallic sparkle or 70s mattish - like on old Fiats)
Lime Green
Crazy multi-coloured fliptone paint a la KeinAlso where are you getting all this Easton Scandium tubing from, and what's the rough cost of the tubing?

i'm lying if i say that i wasn't thinking about yellow. I have all the components for the bike and they are almost all black. I have a friend who has a yellow look and i love the **look of his look **(eh eh!). But i think the yellow frame only work with some black stickers on it. But that's a great choice hugo ;)
I was thinking also about metalic blue or red. (i don't know)That lime Green you said is something like this?
humm! a paint a la Klein... i think that will have to be made using an aerograph. I know a guy who paint helmets and bikes... but i think that will put the price much higher
Valdemiro had some Easton Scandium tubes. I heard him complain the other day about the new prices of those tubings. He told me that Easton asked him for alot of money the last time he bought a set. The same thing happened with steel. The fixed gear phenomenom made the steel tubes become a "fashion subject" again. The prices were down for several years but now (the laste years) the search for steel tubes made the prices go high. I also heard Valdemiro complain about that thing too. I can't tell you the price of the Easton scandium tubes now becouse i used the ones Valdemiro had.

I like the look of the raw Scandium.. Kinda copperish.. Can that finish be preserved?
Is the headtube 1"? Then get a skinny straight carbon Look fork in there.. Effin' sexy I'd say.. -
• #45649
noca-are they all custom frames?
if so how much are they? -
• #45650
what about a bright colour, but a matt finish? no decals...
matt yellow FTW!
or bright matt blue?
helmets oddly the best samples i could find?
did he? must have missed that.... meant in terms of build also.
