I use one made of gryphon ejaculate.

Fair enough, I do know front brake is more powerful, and thus take less effort to slow down (and modulated).
In that case a front is better than having a rear (while still recommending a f&r naturally).
miro, the trick is to avoid such maneuver from happening, i.e. slow down before entering the corner, position yourself accordingly in preparation if a car might pulls out (primary position), etc.

But what if this isn't theoretical cycling? And I'm doing 35mph downhill in the dark on a wet road.*
*doesn't happen much commuting in London. Does happen to me most weeks for 6 months of the year.

they make the full range of body protection...
Gryphon ejaculate being famous for its structure which pound for pound outperforms Kevlar by up to 400%*. -

What you did is putting yourself in a compromising position - going too fast to slow down properly.
If you think you can't slow down properly at 35mph down the dark and wet road, then ease up the speed.

Can someone post something interesting and bike-project-related please?
-

Oh, fuck off with the arguing. I prefer only having rear brake to only having a front brake but that's just me.
Going single speed? Get two brakes. Chicks dig scars, but to get scars you must endure a fair amount of pain. Just get two brakes. Shit's simple.

I'm fine, with the occasional use of my back brake. I think I've made my point.

Last few things to be done are:
Replace the 2 steel stem screw with titanium ones.
Find a lighter stem.Get a Grammo if you're a weight weenie, but I think it will look out of place. If you're swapping bolts on a 1A stem, keep the steel one for the bar clamp because they are marginal anyway, and Ti will shear off, but you can change the heavy expander bolt and cone to aluminium, as on a 1R. I think a 1A with the 1R bolt and cone actually comes out fractionally lighter than a native 1R, and the 1A bar clamp is more secure.
