  • I've used a gold 'craft' pen for lug highlights, worked a treat.

  • It's like watching two fat men fighting over a salad.

    Repped!

  • Swapped out the RB201 bullhorns for some older Nitto bullhorns and wrapped them in yellow Benotto tape. Now I need to clean up my old yellow turbo to match!

wow! i like this alot ;)

  • Got round to taking some proper pictures. Swapped the old 120 stem for a 90mm, i know i know, but it just feels more comfortable with the same reach as the road bike.
Was having some trouble with the seat post diameter, but calipers told it was 30.4 so now running a shim after crc sent me the wrong one 3 times.
As i said before: need an inline post and campag pista chainset then done.

(top tube isn't dented, does look like it though)

  • Very nice man, looks fast.

heres mine, new headset, stem, forks. Syncros seatpost to come.

I really don't like the Thomson with risers, looks really ugly, and doesn't feel great, gonna try some bullhorns on see if they're any better. Personally I don't really rate the stem, want an x2 instead. But am really pleased with the forks and headset (cheers Sumo) and sure the Syncros will look good.

  • I was about to ask you if they turned up. Looks like they did. It's looking real nice. It'l look proper fast with bullhorns, some nice airwings or mavics or something, just remember to get a shorter stem.

  • Looks real nice also. Glad you got your forks sorted now, the all black front end is a good look too ;)

  • Yeah, picked them up today (you didn't put a name on them!haha) I was like a contestant of the generation game as packages went past until I picked out the right one! I think they look pretty decent in black.

  • Haha, sorry about that. I was in a hurry to get to the post office before the last collection, must have forgotten. I want to try one of those Flite's, the one I had before was from the 90's and had too much curve on the back of it, felt like it was trying to throw me off but that one looks good.

  • its a shame those look forks were too short tenderloin they looked so good with the frame! saying that it still looks ace

  • Flipped Thomson stem over, feels better even if it looks a little odd. Yeah that flite was originally for my Concorde road bike, but my Brooks looked odd on the GT so swapped them over, it's pretty bloomin comfy if a little 'springy'.
    cheers yo!

  • @Jambon - nice to see you bought a brand new shed to keep it in!

  • Nice job Ramon.
    ;)

I moved house about 6 months ago and have been shedless until last week, the house was a mess. My Next project is to create a tool wall!

    Nice job Ramon.

    proper cheers like wookno

  • Do it! You gonna have painted shillouettes so you know where everything should go?

  • yeah why not! :D

  • @ Tenderloin Beautiful bike - I love the Triple triangle frames

  • Just picked this up from a local house clearance:

    Raleigh Jeep ~1975 I think?

  • .

Why dont you get one of the ITM Dual tony rominger hour record stems?

  • that's a shit drawing of a hand

i hope you like always having to wear gloves.

  • My experience tells me that bare hands actually grip better to Benotto's tape.

  • wouldn't like to ride on the road with Benotto tape, but it looks so nice.
