• Proper lush!

• Why?

I'm sure it's up to him...

Really is it up to him? So you're saying it's my opinion. Of course it is, that much is implied.

As to why put a brake on it, well presumably he/she will have trouble stopping it if it's their first fixed bike

• you fuckers are too nice these days.

• We are a very friendly bunch.

Very friendly indeed.

• Fight fight fight!

• yeah thefinalhour pointed out the difference for me i didn't realise :/ thanks :)

• I'll smoke you with risers on anytime.

Meh probably not but I can't be sure as I don't know who you are.

Barking dogs usually don't bite though.

• He is fast - trust me.

Think you should have a race though as I don't know how fast you are

• hehe
it's still that tight.

• man your quick of the mark today

• You must measure the spacing of the front and the back with a tape measure to know what you need to buy.
this website Parkers of Bolton here oop north have cheeeeep wheel sets. i dont work for them but I am Northern so this surely is advertising

• You don't even need to throw a stick at his spoke to stop him.

just toss a fag paper and he'll go over the bar.

• Current runabout...need to get some proper bullhorn/tt/bar end levers but other than that I am very happy with how this has been running :) Sorry for shitty pic...http://www.lfgss.com/picture.php?albumid=1193&pictureid=9241

• Nice bike Dave, shame it's not a lizard.

^This.

Appreciating the bike is all about having seen the previous incarnation, understanding the pain when it got stolen, knowing the lengthy process of sourcing parts to rebuild and (most importantly) understanding that it's a well-thought-out expression of his personal taste.

To be fair, it's hard to understand these things if you don't have any context, but for my money, it's all about 'projects' that express people's love for their bike. More loving, less hating please.

• on my red pista

my canelli track bike

and my felino track bike

• Ok, the bike is now complete. Had its first ride on last nights alley cat. Cheers to buckaroo for drawing up the decals, really good job. Please leave the spoke jokes, they are a bit played out.

To be honest i think this looks nice. bitch to keep clean though! don't crosswinds totally fuck you up with an aerospoke? or are they just a track thing?

if i ever have enough money to justify it, gonna get a mavic three-spoke front and disc rear... some day...

• building a 26" winter/polo bike. just really need some forks, does anyone know where to get some cheap 26" rigid trick style forks?

I have some. PM me please.

• on my red pista

my canelli track bike

and my felino track bike

that sir is beautiful ^

as narrow and as short as you can get. brilliant.

I was looking at these crowns on Ceeway, to build into a tasty fork of my own

• He is fast - trust me.

Think you should have a race though as I don't know how fast you are

Cold be, it's not like I'm Chris Hoy. On the other hand I doubt he is either, as I don't think Hoy (or anyone who's truly fast for that matter) would have the irresistible urge to come on here and tell people he is faster than they are.

• ^ I'm probably faster than both of you but I'm not shouting about it.

Oh wait...

• properly fucking nice.
really well done.

• Nice one! Great bike.
