i see where your coming from, might just be his preference to have a short one, although i agree and would personally 100mm stem and if needed shorten the tt. but then i would also have drops on it and make a other things different
i always have a very short stem, need a large frame as i have long legs, but short stem as i have a short body, so short stems always look right to me .

Is that bare metal or powder coated?
It's Armourtex's Raw finish. Sandblasted and clear-coated with a matte finish.

Hey guys, here's a WIP of my current project
Bought the pink Pista off Hobo and have been building it up with parts bought from you kind kind forum people:
Running HF Phil Wood hubs (bought from esbee—thanks mate) laced to Phil spokes to Velocity deep-Vs built at BLB who were very helpful
Criterium bars / 1A stem
Goldfinger brake to custom job Campag Record brakes (they've been painted gold and been pantographed)
Miche primato cranks (from artisteface—thanks) -> 107mm Miche BB -> Phil Wood cog (should probably add this to transmission DB) w/ an Izumi SuperToughness Chain
Brooks Swallow to no name seatpost and I think that's itGoing to ride it for a while to see how it feels then it's going to go to Armourtex to get it back to Celeste Green, then will try to find someone to leather stitch the grips. Also bought some decals from cyclomondo to put on.
Also wanting to swap out the clunky goldfinger for a Paul E-lever.
Anyone else also think that the fork has got too steep a rake on it? Any recommendations? As an aside, want to get the stem pantographed. Anyone had any experience doing this?
Anyway wanted to thank all you lot for posting up such helpful info on LFGSS, donation definitely on the way.
Cheers
