bigger tyres (28c+) plus chrome mudguard should make it look proportional.

Finally got the right stem and handlebar on the Bridgestone, also got a new crankset on it.
The Omega aslo got a new crankset seatpost, headset and wheels (all Dura ace), now I just need a Dura Ace stem.

Inspection notes:
My medium sized 464 weighs 2.3kg including the stock expander type headset adjuster and spacers (2x10 + 2x5), the headset, seat clamp and uncut fork. Taking the most charitable interpretation of the 1600g claimed weight, the bare frame is 183g over. The fork should comfortably meet the 360g spec when cut to any sensible length, but the blades are about 53.5mm x 17.5mm where they straighten out below the fork crown, which might cause some concern for anybody who wants to race one at a high level as it's a smidge over 3:1. The head tube is 165mm, which is actually a bit longer then my 55cm 585, so Look clearly aren't after the pursuit-adaptable market, but it does mean I can use a -10° stem which should please all the haters who don't like the upward pointing stem on my Koga. -

I'd so do natalie portman.
It'd be our means of making progress for the peace process- clearly my chat up line solved if I ever meet a hot Israeli girl.... -

i reckon an upwards pointing stem looks nicer then having 65mm of spacers underneath a -10° stem IMO. looking forward to seeing the finished product
-
• #34592
If it is about looks then you just need the correct length head tube to have a-10 stem and 1-2cm of spacers, even if that means the frame doesn't fit elsewhere!

I enjoy a good feather ruffling, no one will arrest you.

It's not having any spacers, the Look has a 165mm head tube compared with 100mm on the Koga

I really like it when someone mentions something off hand and it turns out to be exactly right.

Following its theft in May this year, I have now recovered my bike thanks solely to the help of the wonderful people on this forum! Thankfully, I can now continue to play and am pleased to say am nearly finished this incarnation. So guys, what do you think?

Originally I was tempted to go with the rat look and rust my frame as others have successfully done in the past. However, I'm growing increasingly fond of the gunmetal finish now I've stripped the paint from the frame, and am wondering whether to keep it that way?
To complement the wooden bars, I have nearly finished a rear mud guard to match (just in time for winter) and will be making some 'decals' from copper or perhaps stainless (a'la fixie inc) to finish.
Although not completely necessary, I would quite like to find a fork with slightly less rake just to pull in that front wheel a touch. With respect to this, do any of you guys know if I could cold bend the legs of the fork I already have without much risk of damage? I'm sure I would be ok as these forks are nothing delicate, but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried this in the past.
Any thoughts?

sweet bike mate, glad you got it back

lovely bike, yes, and a million congrats on getting it back! but best to either go fixed or put a rear brake on that bad boy. i have the scars to show that front-brake-only-freewheel aint a good idea in emergency situations.

My RUMPUS
I'd have left the 27s on if I were you, looks a bit cavernous inbetween the frame and wheels now.
