I'm new to the forum but here's my ride. Made by my friend's dad, soon to be horrifically mutilated by my inexperienced DIY project.
More to follow and any tips will be appreciated.
Plus I've already sanded the frame and resprayed the primer. If the bloody rain stops tonight then I'll be able to do some colouring after a bit of sanding.

Got this off ebay a wee while back, changed the stem, saddle & post. Frame prob a size smaller than I'm used too. Rides well, just looks a bit odd maybe with the long post & stem.

Very nice.
What rims & tyres do you have there?

I've had the frame from this build for a while now:
I've just received the decals from H Lloyd & correct head badge off eBay. The frame's at Bob Jacksons waiting to be resprayed.
I'll post pics as soon as I get it back from BJs, very excited about getting it built up...

These are the kind of lugs you want lined! Amazing.

picked this up yesterday, the frame is in pretty much mint condition. I'm going to swap out the cranks and tires and thats probably it. Not much of a project granted.

Olmo's been sprayed, waiting for egg yolk yellow stickers, then gonna build it up 90s mirage group and use it as my bike up in york. i dont think i'll be leaving this around peckham too much! armourtex for the spray, good job, a few bubbles and they didnt mask off the chainstay bridge mudguard thread, but i'm not running guards, so oh well. love the lacquer, glitter chrome!! love the lug detail on the frame and the internal routing without any edges, it looks like the guides just cut into your frame!

Thanks to noorkoiv for the stem, i'm happy with it now, really can't justify getting a DA seatpost when the Kalloy one doing me well. -

Don't think those are lugs. The headtube is probably cast with that pattern it it.

thanks, the stem is a shimano with the weird top cap, and the bars are the original ones that came with the bike, lightspeed i think.

• #33147
Get in line, Jambon!
-
• #33148
At least jambon has a project to steal it. I get the impression that you only have an inkling.
Inkling -> Desire -> Project -> Plan -> Test -> Revise -> Test2 -> Execute
You are maybe, 2 steps behind jambon.
