Do the carbon stays and pivot point do much to take the sting out? is it still laterally stiff? looks sweet...

The dropouts have allen head bolts attaching them to the seat stays, maybe when I get my next geared bike I could get an eccentric BB and run belt drive.
There's no lateral flex at the rear, I suppose as the chain/seatstays are all solid at the other end it tightens up. The carbon does give some relief over rough roads though.

Yep, Forward Components make them (amongst others possibly) Not cheap and rely on use of external BB chainset.

Yes, and they are ugly, make the BB wider than normal. In theory though, in theory....
I could get an eccentric hub, maybe pay someone to graft track ends onto the carbon chainstays.
