  • I like it.
I recon paint it black, Tuborg decals, bmx cranks and pedals, coaster brake and some wide bars to control the crate. Great park/beach party bike! Perfect for Denmark!

    Thanks!
So far spec list goes like this:
Halo Aerorage wheels in black - rear is flip flop - ill try and remove the decals somehow. With a black marker maybe?
    Two Shimano Freewheels in 18-16T
    Wide Chrome bars
    Black fenders with silver arms.
Old Maxy cranks (campy pista/strada lookalike) 110 BCD with a 38 or 40T chainring.
Im gonna keep the rear brake as it is and just polish it.
Saddle might be a Regal og a Rolls.
Frame is gonna have some of the bosses removed and together with the rack its going to be powdercoated black.
A big ass bell in Ø80 mm. (Its seriously loud!)
Hopefully most aluminium parts will be polished a bit.
.... and of course some other misc.

Decals would be cool! I'd consider that. Im gonna make a lid for the basket. Any ideas of what it should say on top?

  • I have a dream.
(and it's not to be the guy on the back)

Think the guy on the front sharted

  • chrobin, whats the TT length? the reach on those bars has to be 300+ mm? You're almost at the front of the wheel. Etc... Who makes it? What are you using it for? Couldn't imagine riding that thing on the road.

    cool bike.

looking back at it, that bike is nuts. almost no BB drop and that seat tube has to be 76 degrees.

  • I have run out of money so these two will be staying as is for the foreseeable future,
apart from 2 new brake callipers for the pug that Im still waiting to be delivered :(

The whole bike is home made for gods sake!

  • Last night I received the Tommasini Aero Pista Lo Pro from Bulgaraia, my second bike from there. Good news and surprise was that it came with Tommasini pantographed Campag Pista cranks, Super Record Pista headset and Campag Pista BB.

  • ^omg
    bragger!
    :)

  • Damn - that a good freebie

  • buddha fingaz.. is that a Fort frame?

  • The whole bike is home made for gods sake!

so what? I'm just asking. i said it's a cool bike i just can't imagine riding the thing unless it was to go as fast a humanly possible for a short time.

    was curious about it.

  • Sorry I try again and was not trying to be rude:

    Who makes it?

It is home made my friend.

  • Just finished this build.

    Very-fucking-nice-one-beautiful-bike

ah thought you were telling me to fuck off.

    got it.

  • buddha fingaz.. is that a Fort frame?

    Sure is!

  • @ chrobin, WOW!

  • Just finished this build.

I though you finish that age ago? anyhow I love that bike, it's a great take on those old TT bike before technology move on, especially with those handlebar.

awesome, but wtf's with the handle bars?

The handlebar connecting to the fork is to keep it as stiff as possible when sprinting, especially when quill stem were used back in the day and weren't stiff in comparison to ahead.

  • Why is it full od polyfilla?

it also stops the little metal 'key' or wedge thats inside from falling out rrendering it useless, If anyone has a stem...with a missing key? I have a few spare.

  • Buddy just finished a copper bike build, have posted some of the others he has handbuilt, this is fucking beautiful..http://www.flickr.com/photos/dustkustoms Photos a bit off, but quick snaps....

  • ^Thats real nice!

  • I like that alot!

  • that's bloody lovely

  • Need to sort out the rear wheel (I need the hub and spokes, got the rim) and the saddle (the original would have come with a B17) but I have no money. I'm also looking for metal cable clips for the top-tube.

Ignore cranks and pedals, much prettier ones are now fitted.
Not too happy about the brakes but they work well.

  • that's bloody lovely

    you know it

  • The copper bike is a great effort.

  • The copper bike looks 531, any chance of a proper side view of the whole thing though....all your photos are a bit wanky "arty" to get a proper look
